Outsourced "Competent Person" & Consultancy

Companies and persons acting as an employer are required to appoint a competent person to provide Health and Safety Advice under Section 7 of the Managing Health and Safety at Work Act. It is also a requirement of SSIP schemes such as CHAS, Constructionline Acclaim, SMAS etc.

SSIP and Constructionline Applications

As those who offer services relating to construction, maintenance, trades and surveying grow, then will find themselves in a position where registration to an SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) becomes a requirement for them to hold in order to undertake work for other companies and purchasing organisations. 

Registration with these schemes require you to provide information and evidence relating to your companies Health and Safety policies, processes and procedures, including training.
